Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Grayville’s Pre-K and kindergarten classes went to Shreve’s Pumpkin Patch in Barnhill on October 22nd. We had a really good time. We got to pedal some tractors. We worked our way through a hay bale maze. We tried to maneuver through an obstacle course, and we took a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch where we were allowed to select the perfect pumpkin right off of the vine. Many parents and extended family members accompanied us, which is always nice to see. Shreve’s Pumpkin Patch is owned and operated by Mike and Sharla Shreve and is located 3 miles east of IL route 45 in rural Barnhill, IL. The pumpkin patch is open daily from September 1 – October 31.
